Winner, Behavioral and Physiological Ecology: “In March 2013 I was in Chihuahua, Mexico, for a holiday trip. I took this picture in the center of the town, where some Great-tailed grackles were calling and displaying on a roof. This individual (likely an immature male according to its dark eye) was competing with other males without paying attention to people flowing in the crowded street below.
